Sensory Issues, 'Dyslexia' and emotional struggles resolved
Sabina was the classic Sensory Integration Disorder child. She had an undiagnosed vision tracking problem that made it appear as though she was dyslexic. A common belief is that a child will “out-grow” the disability. Undiagnosed sensory processing issues, such as vision tracking weakness demonstrate themselves in different ways—Sabina, now an adult, was diagnosed with ADHD and was depressed.
After working with the Power Tools for Learning program and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Sabina was able to overcome her eating disorder and return to university.
